Here to help with empathy, compassion, and an open mind

Since I was a young child, I was taught to help others and speak up for those in need. I still embrace those values every day. As an attorney, I have entered the legal field through a non-traditional route. In addition to my legal studies, I have my Masters in Social Work and have worked as a research assistant in psychological research.

I began practicing law while serving the community as an AmeriCorps member, assisting individuals and families faced with foreclosure and consumer credit issues. After my year of service, I joined the Legal Services and Advocacy department at the Mental Health Association of Erie County, providing civil legal services to those with mental health diagnoses. My work consisted mainly of representation in Social Security Disability/Supplemental Security Income claims, eviction settlements and proceedings, administrative proceedings for Medicaid and public assistance, as well as some Family Law and Matrimonial work. From these experiences, I have a strong passion for my current work in Social Security Disability and matrimonial representation.

I approach my clients with empathy, compassion, and with an open mind; however, I vigorously advocate to get the results they want and deserve. While working with clients who are faced with difficult decisions, emotional and physical hardships, and life changes, I appreciate their strengths and empower them as we work together to resolve their cases. I aim for excellence in service to my clients and be the voice they need.

Please feel free to contact me for a consultation on your Social Security Disability, divorce or family law needs.
